Random

I just found this pic and had to post it. It was from a few years ago from our friend Miranda's birthday party. Look how little she is......she will always be a poser.

My precious baby girl

Kass is really into American Girl dolls. She sleeps with Lanie every night. One night it was just the cutest thing how she fell asleep. I went in to take her pic, she caught me and woke up because of the noice my stupid camera makes. But then i went back and got a good one. So peaceful.

Halloween

Kassandra had a fun Halloween. Me, its not one of my favorite holidays. Actually i really just dont like it. But i do it for Kassandra. She loves it. She had a fun party at school. I did dress up for work, i was a tiger, and Kass was a black cat this year. We went Trick or Treating with some great friends. We did the Trunk or Treat or church. It was so much fun. After all the things that have been happening, it helped to stop and smell the candy!

First Day of Third Grade

I know i am a little late in posting these pictures. But i totally forgot about them and then i found them while i was uploading Halloween pictures! :)

I can not believe that my little girl is in the 3rd grade. She has a great teacher and she is doing a great job. She is a wonderful reader i am so impressed how well she is doing. She just finished reading Charoletts Web. She was so proud of herself for finishing the whole book. Anyway, my baby girl isnt such a baby anymore!

Goodbye Aunt Kathi- We will miss you

Last Wednesday probably started out like any other day for Kathi. She went to lunch with her husband and did her normal stuff. She was teaching seminary that afternoon and started getting a migraine and went to get a drink and never came back. The kids found her in the hallway passed out. They rushed her to the hospital only to find out that she had suffered from a brian hemorrhage that was the size of a softball. Kathi was then in a coma. They took her off life support that night and did not expect her to make it for very long, however, after a long and sad 24 hours, Kathi passed away Thursday night.
Kathi was a wonderful missionary and dedocated temple worker. She did a lot of genealogy and family history work. She is going to be missed. I know that she was welcomed into heaven by many greatful people including Grandma Orpha and Grandpa Austin. I am so thankful that i know that i will be able to see her again one day.
This has been a very sudden and sad thing for her husband and kids to go through. Our family has been so lucky to not really have to experience death like this until now. It has really made me think about the relationships with the people in my family. You never know when that day is going to be your last. Just like Kathi didnt wake up on Wednesday knowing that she was going to die.
We are going to miss you Kathi. We love you and we will see you one day soon.
God be with you till we meet again;
By his counsels guide, uphold you;
With his sheep securely fold you.
God be with you till we meet again.
God be with you till we meet again;
When life’s perils thick confound you,
Put his arms unfailing round you.
God be with you till we meet again.
God be with you till we meet again;
Keep love’s banner floating o’er you;
Smite death’s threat’ning wave before you.
God be with you till we meet again.
Till we meet, till we meet,
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet. …
God be with you till we meet again
